Episode poll: 10.05, Thin Lizzie
Sorry the poll is late this week; I've been distracted by all the horrible (wonderful) things being done to Sam over on the OhSam Triple Play 2015, and if you haven't checked this out yet you need to do so.
In the meanwhile, let's take the poll...
Your thoughts on 11.05, Thin Lizzie?
Loved some, liked some
It wouldn't have seemed so bad if it didn't come right after Baby
So awful, I want someone to suck out my soul so I can stop caring about how awful it was
Cas is binge-watching The Wire
Good for him; it's an awesome show
Kind of an awkward way to write him out of an episode
I don't care, because I didn't want him in an episode anyway
I do care, because I wanted to see him
But only if he's involved in the Winchester story; no angel drama please
What's up with Amara?
She was neutral but now she's evil
She's still neutral, she just thinks serial killers are really interesting, in the same way Sam thinks they're really interesting
She was evil and she's still evil
Maybe all of Crowley's 'education' made her evil
Maybe sucking down all those demon souls made her evil
Have you never met a teenager? They're all evil
What's the state of Dean's soul?
A little messed up because of the MoC and whatnot, but functioning
Under the influence of the Darkness
I haven't read anyone else's speculation so I don't even know why you're asking this
I don't know; he was kind of mean to Sam in this episode, but he didn't want to kill Len, so I'm getting mixed signals
Who does Len remind you of?
Soulless Sam, because he remembers being different and he's trying to fake it, and he knows he'd probably be better off with his soul even if he doesn't care about it
MoC Dean, because... I don't remember why, but someone said it so I wanted to give y'all this option
This one guy I went to high school with
I don't know, but I'm wondering why he didn't get hotter when he lost his soul
I don't know but I hope something dark and evil and winged is literally hatching inside him because that's hella awesome
Someone else who I will mention in the comments
None of the above
Why do some people go batshit crazy and turn into murderers when they lose their souls, and some don't?
Because they had evil inclinations to begin with
Some other reason
I don't know but I'm glad Show is keeping this line of questioning alive
Things I liked about this episode
Not really old-fashioned MoTW after all
Sam and the squeezy thing
Two brothers, one bed
Sydney the killer babysitter
Molly's Hatchet Room
Dean with a little bit of blood on his face
I can't believe you forgot the thing, which I will discuss in the comments
Did Lizzie Borden really murder her father and stepmother?
I don't know who you're talking about
Licking sweat off a stranger's body part?
Probably wouldn't bother me if I didn't have a soul
Soul or no soul, that's nasty
Depends on the stranger (and I might be willing to test this theory because I've never met Jared Padalecki)
I don't know what you're talking about
Turns out this episode was by a new writer; do we want to keep her?
Does that mean we get to vote an existing writer off the island, cause I've got a list
Remember, no spoilers in the comments, please!
